We collect account information you provide when you sign in, such as your name and email address. We collect business profile information you enter, including company details and operating context you choose to share.
We collect the files and inputs you upload as part of a briefing, including sales exports, product costs, discounts, returns, fulfilment assumptions and other business evidence.
How we use information
We use your information to operate MarginMining, generate the commercial briefings you request, maintain your account and improve the product. We do not sell your data. We do not use your data to advertise third-party products.
We use a privacy-friendly analytics service (Plausible) to understand aggregate product usage and improve the beta. It does not use cookies and does not collect personal information, email addresses, business names, file contents or report data.
Uploaded business files
Files you upload are used to prepare the briefings you request. Please only upload information you are authorised to share. Avoid uploading personal data about customers or employees that is not needed to produce the briefing.
AI-assisted analysis
MarginMining uses AI to assist in analysing uploaded evidence, structuring findings and drafting briefing language. Outputs are indicative and should be reviewed before being relied on for commercial decisions.
Data storage and security
Account data, business profile data and uploaded files are stored using our hosting and database providers. We use reasonable measures to protect this information. No system is fully secure, so please consider what you upload.
Sharing information
We share information with the service providers that help us run MarginMining, such as hosting, database, file storage and AI processing providers. We do not sell your data and we do not share it for advertising.
Data retention
We retain account information, business profile data and uploaded files while your account is active and as needed to provide briefings. You can contact us to request deletion of your account and associated data.
Your choices
You can update your business profile, remove uploaded files where the product allows, and request account deletion by emailing us. You can stop uploading new files at any time.
